Spears' father to retain control over affairs
Britney Spears' father will continue control over her personal matters for just about three more weeks, according to a court opinion yesterday.
Jamie Spears was granted "temporary worker conservatorship" over the 26-year-old singer's affairs two weeks ago when she was in a Los Angeles hospital for psychiatric evaluation.
Yesterday Los Angeles Royal court Commissioner Reva Goetz extended that conservatorship, which gives the star's don control all over her patronage, cash in hand and approximately personal affairs until 10 March.
Spears' 30-year-old brother Bryan was been named co-trustee of his sister's trust along with Los Angeles attorney Ivan Taback.
Reuters reports that, in a related filing, attorney Jon Eardley said the event should be moved to federal royal court because the issue on which Jamie Spears was granted conservatorship centres on medicine Spears is supposed to have.
The lawyer claims that restrictions placed on Spears by her father "interpose with the strength of the scheduled medications".
Eardley's filing said that under the conservatorship, the isaac M. Singer has been denied the right to take on freely with friends, make and receive headphone calls, force a automobile and put on access to money or credit rating card game.
A congresswoman for Eardley said that he was "not at liberty to talk over" world Health Organization hired the lawyer.
